Vikings Beat Neosho On Senior Night

4037879145_0445dbed19The Vikings started 10 seniors on Tuesday night against Neosho, and beat a team that they had lost to previously this year. Parkview scored three goals in the first half, and gave up one in the second to finish the match at 3-1. Jared Moore picked up the first goal after Brian Otradovec found him just inside the eighteen. Moore received the pass and beat the keeper for a 1-0 lead. The second goal of the night came when Blake White crossed the ball and it hit off of a Neosho player and bounced into the far post back of the net, and the third one came on a PK from Moore after he was fouled in the penalty area.

Scoring summary: Jared Moore 2g, Brian Otradovec 1a

The Junior Varsity finished their season with a 2-0 win against Neosho, scoring two goals in the final three minutes on their way to a win. After a 0-0 first half, Chris Lawson scorched a shot near post that the keeper knocked wide for a corner. Soon after, Shane Maloney pounced on an opportunity as the ball shot out of a the box and straight to him, and punched it into the back of the net past the keeper. The second goal came from a cross when Pedro Pitonez headed one just under the crossbar for 2-0 win.
