The Lady Vikings fell this afternoon to the Waynesville Tigers. The score was 1-0 at halftime as Caylin Manary combined with her teammates to put up a strong defensive wall in front of the speedy Tiger’s offense. All-Stater Katie Pritchard got a goal in the 8th minute for Waynesville but that was it initially.

The second half saw three quick goals, two by Pritchard and the third by Lauren Kelly opened things up. The final score was 5-0.

The Vikings played without defensive stalwart Liz Carney who is recovering in anticipation up the upcoming District playoffs. The next game is Friday against Greenwood.
